These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dardar (the "App"), operated by [Legal Entity Name — to be completed] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Dardar.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Dardar. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person — impersonating someone else or creating a fake profile is not allowed.
Dardar exists to help real people find real flatmates and rooms in Dubai. You agree not to:
We may remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
If another user makes you uncomfortable or violates these Terms, use the in-app Report and Block tools available on profiles and chats. Reports are reviewed by our team; we aim to act on reports within 24 hours. Blocking a user immediately hides you from each other across the App.
You keep ownership of the photos, bio, messages, and other content you post. By posting it, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit that content within the App as necessary to operate the service (for example, showing your profile to other users, or delivering your messages to the person you're chatting with). You're solely responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to post it.
Dardar is a platform that helps people discover each other — we are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any tenancy, lease, or roommate agreement you may enter into with another user. We don't verify the accuracy of listings, rent prices, or the identity of users beyond the optional selfie-verification badge. You're responsible for exercising your own judgment, meeting in safe public places, and verifying any arrangement (including tenancy terms) before committing to it.
Dardar is currently free to use. Paid plans described in the app are not yet available for purchase ("Coming Soon") — you will not be charged anything without a clear, separate purchase flow at the time such plans launch. Where in-app purchases are introduced, they will be processed through the applicable app store's in-app purchase system, subject to that store's own terms.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if we're required to do so by law.
Dardar is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in you finding a room, flatmate, or tenant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or from your interactions, arrangements, or disputes with other users — including any tenancy or roommate arrangement made outside the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction — e.g. the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates — to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Dardar after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
